April 13: Red Bellied Woodpecker

Picture
I know it's a Robin in the picture. It's just decorative.
Red Bellied Woodpecker

Tiny section of wooded swamp
like a big room
a warehouse
crowded with overstuffed chairs
its boundaries
clear and reachable
but I can't see the Red Bellies
calling plain song and Song
until they fly
their conversation ended
from chair backs
and vine curtains
not a hundred feet away.
